I hope all of you are enjoying your summers! It was great to see many of you at Jamboree!

E-board and Fall Fellowship are fast approaching! Our August E-board is the 19th, 7:30 at the VFW in West Chicago. We will be discussing topics like Fall Fellowship (last minute plannings etc), LLD, and other topics. I know some college kids have move in days on the 19th or will already be in school, if so please let me know and if your a chapter chief please email a report.



Fall Fellowship- It is almost here! September 10-12 is Fall Fellowship at adventure camp! Continue to spread the word in your chapters! It is going to be a great time for fellowship and service.
At Fall Fellowship we will be holding our E-board elections which consist of Lodge Chief, Vice Chief of Chapters, Vice Chief of Committees, Quartermaster, Secretary, and Treasurer. If anyone is interested in running for any of these positions please email my self or Tim Tyler with a letter stating what you would like to run for and why. This letter should be submitted before Fall Fellowship. Chapter Chief elections will be held as well! It is not required to send in a letter for the Chapter Chief elections.



Thank you for all the service you all have put into the lodge this year! We have done many remarkable things within such a short amount of time!

The Mascoutin Society is looking for youth volunteer(s) to help at their pow wow to work in various capacities - volunteers can camp for free, and the Mascoutin Society will feed them for the weekend. If possible I'd like 10 more arrowman to assist. I'm sure everyone who volunteers will have a great time. Pow wow will be held at the Will County Fairgrounds in Peotone IL on August 13, 14, 15. August 13 is setup only and any and all help is greatly appreciated.

This would be a great opportunity for members to sport their new purple lodge T-shirts.

Your Boy Scout Council needs your help! Our Jamboree Contingent needs help with loading the two trucks to take the equipment to the Jamboree.

Please respond to Wade Elder (630.797.4626 or wade.elder@scouting.org) if you can come out to Camp Big Timber on this Thursday, July 22 from 10AM to 2PM. You will be assisting with loading gear onto two trucks. Your cheerful service will be greatly appreciated.

Spring Fellowship was a success! Congratulations to all 84 new Ordeal members of the lodge! Thank you to all the arrowmen who came out to fellowship! We truly helped set the camp up for a summer camp season! We will be having an August Eboard on the third thursday at the VFW. More information will be coming out soon!
